40th Anniversary of Gunpla! A high-end brand is born for MG!
“MGEX” is a new brand that challenges the “extreme expression” of MS based on the “theme” set for each unit by combining the accumulated technology of BANDAI SPIRITS and different materials.
■The first theme is “Extreme “Light Emitting Mechanism””. “Light Emitting” expression by a well-calculated “structure” and a new LED unit.
■By pressing the button, the eyes and the head main camera light up, and the main body psycho frame lights up red and green, and then the light emission with strong and weak effects is possible.
■The newly adopted “flexible LED sheet” realizes easy assembly and space saving. Starting from this technology, the Unicorn Gundam’s first transformation, light emission, color change, and movement are realized.
■The proportions of the whole body are produced by new molding under the full supervision of Mr. Hajime Katoki.
■It is possible to use lead wires to make the clear parts of the shield placed away from the main body light up.
■Water transfer decals including new designs original to the plastic model are included.
■The dedicated MS cage can store the battery box for the illumination unit, adjust the position of the support, and hold weapons.
■Three AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) are required to reproduce the light emission.
